At the age of 18, Destiny embarked on a journey to Philadelphia from her hometown of Baltimore to advance her career, only to realize that she lacked essential life skills crucial for navigating the challenges of adulthood. This realization served as a catalyst for her commitment to founding The Noor Foundation. Destiny identified gaps in her own knowledge, particularly in financial literacy, including budgeting for a household and understanding credit scores. Recognizing the importance of professional development, she sought to learn negotiation skills for wages, the value of certifications to advance her career, and the significance of building a robust professional network. Additionally, Destiny understood the vital role of health and wellness, grappling with issues such as mental health awareness and the consequences of using alcohol as a coping mechanism. Her responsibilities have ranged from client onboarding, product setup, and operations streamlining to youth program development and compiling research data for professional presentations.
